Subject: still no refund??

Hi, it's been 6 weeks since you filed my return and I still haven't got my refund. My neighbour got hers in 2. Did something go wrong? Also I moved in August1, not sure if that matters. Can someone just tell me what's going on?

What we do

We do four things. All of them inside your firm.

Claude set up across your firm on your own accounts and permissions. Skills that write the letters, notes and drafts your team keeps redoing. Apps and dashboards for the work no off-the-shelf tool covers. Training on your own files, so it actually sticks. We built every bit of it inside our own firm first.

Set up Claude for the whole firm.

Your accounts, your permissions, your firm context. Ready for everyone to use.

Build skills for the jobs that repeat.

Your templates and your rules, built into tools your team can use again tomorrow.

Build the apps and dashboards you need.

When the tool doesn't exist, we build it around how your firm works.

Train the team so it sticks.

Hands-on sessions with your own work, not another slide deck.

Great. Another AI agency.

but wait.

This one's run by a firm that's already done it.

And we don't take the money and disappear. Change management is a big part of the job, and we stay on it all the way through, as long as your team needs us.

Mike Libbey

I'm not a CPA. I'm the guy who runs the firm. I got tired of watching good people do work a machine should do, so I built the machine. Then I started teaching other firms how. Now we'll build it for you.

Let the machine handle the repetitive stuff. Keep the humans where it truly matters.

The hard part

Learning AI is the easy part.Changing how your team works is harder.

Most firms don't stall on the tech. They stall on people. Old habits stick, staff worry about what it means for their jobs, and new tools quietly go unused. We went through all of it rebuilding our own firm, so it's part of every setup.

Training on your own files. Hands-on sessions from partners to first-years, using real work, so nobody gets left behind.

A champion inside your firm. We train one person to own it, so it keeps running after we hand it over.

Proof it's working. A one-page report every month showing what it handled and the time it saved.

And many more. If your firm runs on it, we can likely work with it.

What a Toronto workshop attendee built

"Cancelled the 30 day free trial, saved myself $7,000 a year for the subscription and created a workflow tailored to my firm and my staff."

You'll always know what it's worth.

We price against payroll, not hours.

We ask what the job costs you today and price the fix as a fraction of that.

Someone on your team owns it.

We name an owner inside your firm during the build so it stays alive after we leave.

We're taking a handful of founding firms this winter.

Reduced rate in exchange for honest feedback and a case study.

What happens on the call

  1. No sales deck. We look at what's eating your team's week.
  2. A straight answer on whether Claude fits that work, or if it's too early.
  3. One tool or skill you could put in place next week, whether we work together or not.

Built for firms of 1 to 50 people. Your client data stays on your firm's own accounts, with your permissions. Nothing leaves your control, and we walk you through exactly where it goes before anything is set up.

Mike reads every request. No sales reps, no commitment. We reply within 2 business days.

AI implementation questions

What does an AI implementation for an accounting firm include?

An AI implementation for an accounting firm includes Claude set up across the firm, custom skills for repeat work, and custom apps and dashboards where needed. Mike Libbey also trains your team to use the tools in their everyday accounting work.

Do we need to be on Karbon?

No, your accounting firm doesn't need to be on Karbon. We work with the tools you already use, and we've run on Karbon at YBL for 9 years so we know it well.

Is our client data safe?

We set up Claude and your firm's tools on your own accounts with your permissions. Nothing leaves your control.

How long does a setup take?

Depends on scope. For custom builds we start with a paid discovery and prototype that's credited to the build if you go ahead, so you see it working on your own work before you commit to the full thing.

What does it cost?

We price against what the work costs you today, not by the hour. Setups and training have fixed prices. Custom builds are quoted after discovery.

How do we know it's working?

Every month you get a one-page report showing what it handled, the time it saved, and what that time is worth. Plus a short video walkthrough of anything we've changed.

Who is behind this?

Mike Libbey is CEO of YBL, a 30+ person fully cloud-based accounting firm named a Top 50 Modern Accounting Firm. Mike is a Top 50 International ProAdvisor, YBL has received the Karbon AI Innovation Award, and Mike hosts the Claude 101 for Accountants workshops.

How is this different from buying ChatGPT or Claude seats?

Seats give your team a blank box. We set it up with your firm's context, build skills for the work you repeat every week, and train your people on their own files so it actually gets used.

Do you work with firms outside Canada?

We work across North America, starting in Canada. The Claude 101 for Accountants workshop comes to New York in January 2027. If your firm is anywhere in North America, get in touch.
